Throwback Thursday: In Summer

Here's a little throwback to when the weather was warmer and my baby girl was, well, a baby girl.

Now this big girl is excited to find out whether she's having a brother or sister- and she'll find out next Tuesday!  We're so excited :)

Four years is not a long time, and yet from where I stand, I feel this firm foundation we've built.  I see how strong and sturdy we are- and I can see it because every time the wind starts to blow, I can hold on to you, and you hold on to me, and you keep us upright until the storm passes.

I don't know that I could ever deserve you, but I'm grateful to be given the opportunity to try.

Year five promises to be the most adventurous yet, so let's hold on tight.

Throwback Thursday: Last Thankgsiving

Last Thanksgiving, we hosted aaaaaaaaaaall of our family here for a big party for this little goober's first birthday.  This year, we will again be surrounded by family...at the beach!  We're so excited :)

Throwback Thursday: Last Labor Day

This time last year, this little girl went shopping for her first pair of tennis shoes, felt the excitement of her first college football opening weekend, and had a whole lot less hair on that little bitty head.

Now, shoe shopping is her favorite kind of shopping, she knows the cheers for all her favorite football teams, and she has enough hair for little bitty pigtails (if she lets me do them).

Throwback Thursday: Last Memorial Day

We're going to see Mammaw and Papaw for Memorial Day again this year- only this time, we're going to them!  Someone is so excited to ride on an "airmane" once again, even if we're a little nervous about the fact that this particular plane won't be taking off until well past bedtime.  Here's hoping she sleeps on the flight!

Throwback Thursday: Love From Hershey

Love is sweet / 6 May 2012 // *personal photo*

I can't believe this was 2 years ago!  We spent the spring and summer of 2012 visiting various amusement parks nearby with our friends as "practice for Disney" aka an excuse to ride roller coasters.  Protip: Hershey Park is EMPTY the first weekend in May and the weather is perfect- cool enough for a light jacket!  No lines + beautiful weather = awesome amusement park experience.
