It's a girl :)
Our 20-week ultrasound was Thursday and we got to spend some time getting to know our baby girl. We watched her squirm and punch and kick and wiggle as the tech measured her head, her arms, her legs, her heartbeat. She's healthy, growing right on schedule, and everything is developing just as it should. We saw her brain, the chambers of her heart, her kidneys, her stomach...we saw her delicate vertebrae, the bones in her limbs, the details to her skull... It was so, so cool.
We do have a name picked out, but for the sake of her privacy, I won't be sharing it here :) In blog-land, she will continue to be known as Chief.
We cannot wait to start decorating her nursery- and to share pictures as we do!
Is it November yet? I'm ready to hold this little angel.
