(Yeah that title is a lame attempt at a play on "processional". Just go with it.)
It was finally, finally time to make my walk down the aisle.
Well, not quite yet. Some other people had to walk, first. Like the grandmothers and mothers, escorted by our ushers (and of course my dad escorted my mom) to Bach's Prelude in C Major:
Then the music changed to Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring:
Next were the bridesmaids, starting with BM BabySis:
BM MrsL:
BM MrsB:
BM J:
BM MrsF:
And MOH Sis:
The music changed one last time to Pachelbel's Canon in D:
I know a lot of people are scared of the idea of having children in their wedding. Kids are unpredictable- they may cry and refuse to walk down the aisle, lose the rings, soil their beautiful clothes, and otherwise cause a distraction during the ceremony. But between the two of us, we're related to a whole bunch of beautiful children, many of whom would be there to celebrate with us anyway, so we figured- why not? We had 4 Tiny Attendants in total- a flower girl, a "ring bearer" (who didn't actually carry the rings), and my little twin cousins to lead us all in. All we asked of each of them was to just walk down the aisle, then find their moms and go sit down- that's it. And they all managed to do that just fine! (Posing for group photos afterwards ended up being out of the question...but that's okay.)

First, my cousins A & A, 3 years old:
(You may have noticed that his shirt was untucked and he wasn't wearing any shoes. Oooor you may have been distracted by their precious grins.)
Next, Mr Geek's nephew J, 2 years old:
And finally, my cousin M E, 6 years old (but she turned 7 a couple of weeks later):
And that's it! That's the whole procession.
Oh no, wait. A couple more people needed to walk down the aisle first...
And now...it's time to get married :)
What music did you use for your ceremony procession? Did you have kids in your wedding? How many?
